working title

working title is a collaborative photopoetry zine that pairs the voices of cleveland-based spoken word artists with intentionally crafted photographs. each issue features three original poems that are accompanied by photos created in collaboration between the poet and photographer. the images are designed to reflect and enhance the themes, stories, and teachings of the poem. every issue includes a written interview with the poet to provide insight into their creative process and inspiration for writing.

every poet featured in the issue is paid upfront. they benefit directly from sales proceeds, with 60% going directly to the poet to support their work.

while working title is a photopoetry zine, it also serves as an opportunity to shed light on cleveland’s creative landscape. our hope is that this project sparks more curiosity about poetry, photography, and the creative experience.
